The Alpharetta Polar Bear Plunge:
Since 2018, the Alpharetta Rotary Club and the Alpharetta Rotary Foundation have proudly hosted the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Wills Park. What began in its inaugural year as a bold community fundraiser—raising an impressive $20,000 —has grown into one of Alpharetta’s most impactful charitable traditions.
The event has expanded far beyond its original vision. Each year the Plunge continues to build momentum, deepen community engagement, and inspire generosity across Alpharetta and beyond. In 2026, the Polar Bear Plunge surpassed $1,000,000 raised over the years for more than 60 charities.
