We serve many communities

As the philanthropic partner of Alpharetta Rotary, AlphaRoFo aims to make grants to those organizations that Alpharetta Rotary serves and suggests for financial support.  Grant applications are available here, and are due quarterly on February 1, May 1, August 1, or November 1.  Our grants committee meets quarterly to decide on grant awards.  A partial list of organizations Alpharetta Rotary supports includes:

Alpharetta Department of Public Safety – Purchased the mobile Fire Safety House, assisted with funding for the police dog program, recognized outstanding police, fire and 911 operators with our Hometown Heroes Award.

BrewAble – Provide program and financial support to this non-profit coffee café in the Alpharetta Community Center that provides vocational training for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.

City of Alpharetta – Annually provide and plant trees at the City’s Arbor Day celebration. Perform clean up along Old Milton Parkway under the Adopt-a-Mile program. Purchased flagpoles for the City’s Memorial Park. Partner with the city for Mayor’s Challenge. Provided volunteer leadership and funds for the city’s Veteran’s Memorial, and for the annual Memorial Day ceremony.

 Drake House – Provide yearly financial support for temporary housing and assistance to homeless families in North Fulton.

Georgia Rotary Student Program – Annually support and host a foreign student to study at a Georgia college or university.

Habitat for Humanity – Provide funding and volunteers to construct at least one home per year. 

Interact Clubs – Sponsor and support High School Interact Clubs at local schools .

HomeStretch – Quality transitional housing for eligible working families in need of time to regain housing self-sufficiency. 

International Service Projects – Provide materials, medical supplies and volunteers to build schools in Costa Rica and Haiti and participate in medical fairs in Panama and Honduras.North Fulton Community Charities – Daily food pickup from local market to support Food Pantry. Collect donations and materials for school backpacks. Sponsor Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets and children’s gifts. 

Polio Plus – Support Rotary International’s goal of eradicating polio worldwide. 

Rotary Youth Leadership Award scholarships for summer leadership camps.

Senior Services North Fulton — An inclusive community where all older adults are revered, cared for, and supported to live meaningful and productive lives.YMCA – Provide annual camp scholarships through the Partners in Youth Program.
